Michelle Kral
Expert Advisor – Biodiversity Conservation
Dr Michelle Kral is a wildlife biologist and conservationist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She has a decade of international project management and research experience across continents. Michelle holds a PhD in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation and is particularly interested in fostering coexistence between humans and wildlife. Whether she studied the interactions between cheetahs and cattle farmers in the Kalahari of Botswana, lions in Kenyan Maasai territory, or lectured students on tropical ecology in the Peruvian Amazon, her passion is to preserve biodiversity and ecosystems while promoting local livelihoods, development and sustainable agriculture – across communities and cultures. When she is not in the Netherlands you can probably find her in her overland vehicle in one of South Africa’s game reserves.
At Adventure4Ever Michelle aims to put her scientific experience into practice to show how we may turn ecological challenges into opportunities for long-term positive change for people and planet.
