Dr Michelle Kral is a wildlife biologist and conservationist from the Netherlands. Shehas nearly a decade of international project management and research experience,with a focus on work conducted in sub-Saharan Africa. Michelle holds a PhD inWildlife Ecology & Conservation and is particularly interested in fosteringcoexistence between humans and wildlife. Whether she studied the interactionsbetween cheetahs and cattle farmers in the Kalahari of Botswana, lions in KenyanMaasai territory or bats taking shelter in Dutch apartment complexes, her passion ispreserve biodiversity and ecosystems while promoting local livelihoods, developmentand sustainable agriculture – across communities and cultures. When she is not inthe Netherlands you can probably find her in her overland vehicle in one of SouthAfrica’s game reserves.
At Adventure4Ever Michelle aims to put her scientific experience into practice toshow how we may turn ecological challenges into opportunities for long-term positivechange for people and planet.
