Júlia Valente is an international journalist from Brazil with ten years of experience in communication, particularly in audiovisual production and broadcast news. She has worked for and contributed to major Brazilian media outlets. Since 2022, she has been based in Milan, Italy, reporting on local and broader European affairs for international media, covering a wide range of topics. Júlia is especially passionate about covering humanitarian and sustainability issues - stories that allow her to connect directly with communities and the challenges they face. She also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, which has strengthened her interest in expanding her communication work into the non-profit sector, always with a focus on the human dimension and sustainable development.
