Cold, colder, or dead cold! You may think you have the mountain under control. You may think you are clever and can ski or board it all. According to the experts in mountain rescue, you should think again. Snow is snow and on the mountain it is most definitely in control, 100% of the time. There are guidelines and most certainly courses which will train you, especially important for the maniacs racing after every virgin dump of the white stuff. The statistics are brutal though. If you have ever experienced an avalanche, you are now likely dead. Many think they can outrun one! Think again.
